Friday January 27 - 7:00pm

Artistic Director Kathleen Turner will conduct the Glynn County Elementary Honors Choir at Brunswick High.  Guest artists will include Trina Mead, Michael Hulett, Matthew Rowell (oboe), George Ingram (accompanist), and more!  Admission is free.

The mission of Vi Fluentis is to nurture and develop Golden Isles-area children from diverse backgrounds in the joys and discipline of high quality choral singing, music education, and performance; to offer a curriculum of varied repertoire including classical, popular, and multicultural music, and to enrich the musical scene of the Golden Isles with the unique children’s choir sound.

Vi Fluentis ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

A native of upstate New York, Kathleen is one of only a few graduates of the Eastman School of Music to be awarded the prestigious Performer’s Certificate in two disciplines (organ and oboe).  She holds a Masters of Sacred Music from Westminster Choir College and was the 1988 winner of the national MTNA-Wurlitzer Collegiate Artist Competition in organ.  She serves as Organist/Choirmaster at Christ Church Frederica since 2010.
